Raglan film maker wins in 48 Hours competition

Micah Puklowski from Raglan has won with her movie Gone, in New Zealand’s largest short film competition.  Awards for best actress, best all-female team, best female director as well as the award for the overall Waikato winner went to Micah in V48Hours competition.

The V48 film competition involves amateur film-makers writing, shooting and editing a short film in 48 hours over one weekend.  Micah’s film was in the time travel genre. A Wintec student, Micah is completing her Master of Arts.  She shot her time travel film in Raglan and aside from making her actress cry for dramatic realism and the time consuming process of creating perfect fake blood, loved the experience.
