There is still no date for the double decker bus promised by Busit as a means of ending the days of passengers standing on the Raglan to Hamilton bus service.
In a post on Facebook, in early May, Busit said:
The double decker is still in Christchurch having the finishing touches completed. Meanwhile we’re working through any route and timetable amends that need to happen before we put the new bus on the route. We’re looking forward to getting extra seated capacity onto this route.
Busit also said that they are working with the bus operator to ensure any spare bus used in Raglan has a bike rack installed.
