Update: A 16-year-old has been charged with burglary following the ram raid. The teenager appeared in the Hamilton Youth Court on Wednesday

Thousands of dollars of clothing was stolen from the store when it was raided around 3.45am on Waitangi Day.

A white Honda or Nissan model vehicle smashed into the shop. Two men wearing grey hoodies entered the store while one man remained in the vehicle.

The vehicle involved in ram raid in Raglan was stolen from Hamilton. It was recovered abandoned in Paraparaumu and is now being forensically tested. Any information please ring Raglan police station 825 8200

Police are investigating an aggravated burglary (ram-raid-style) at the Fallenfront clothing store on Wainui Road, Raglan this morning at 3.45am on Tuesday 6th February.

The offenders were using a white vehicle thought to be a Honda or Nissan sedan (see image).

Two males wearing grey hoodies, entered the store, while one male remained in the vehicle.

The offenders have stolen $3,000 – $4,000 worth of clothing and shoes.

Champion brand street wear and Adidas clothes and shoes were the brands stolen.

The vehicle and offenders have not yet been located, so if anyone knows anything in relation to this, or saw what went on, please contact their nearest Police station and ask to speak to Constable Hawkins.

This morning repairs were being made to the store.
