Raglan Best Garden Competition 2012

Calling all green fingered gardening enthusiasts. Spring’s the ideal time to start rejuvenating your plants, flowers and shrubs and getting your garden in tip top shape for the Best Garden Competition 2012.

Sponsored by the Raglan Community Board, the annual Raglan Best Garden Competition is back.

There are plenty of categories to enter and prizes to be won. The council encourages as many residents as possible to take part.

This year’s categories include: Best children’s gardens (school or home), Best small garden, Best street appearance, Best vegetable garden, Best established garden, and Best new garden.

Entries for Raglan’s Best Garden Competition close on Friday 29 October, with judging taking place between 14 and 15 November.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the council’s website www.waikatodistrict.govt.nz or obtained from the council’s Raglan Office and Library.
