Raglan group Acoustic Spirit won over the audience at last night’s outdoor concert on the green behind the Old School Arts Centre.  Playing everything from Greensleeves through to modern numbers local guitar maestros Dave Maybee and Peter Skandera along with fiddle & viola player Julie Pescud, Sid Limbert (bass guitar) and Bruce Dennis (Drums) gave a capitivating and enjoyable show.

As the sun sank further and the stars came out, next up was Mo Ghra,  a Celtic show with Celine and Samantha Toner playing music with its roots in Scotland along with New Zealand numbers.

Mo Ghra translated means ‘the love or bond between mother and daughter’, and their music span links between the mother’s native Scotland and the duagther’s Aotearoa.
