A sunny Raglan Saturday was ideal this morning (10th May) for a pop-up street seating by place making Raglan Whaingaroa. Located on the median across from Trade Aid, Tim Turner’s Karioi seat and others provided an ideal setting to hang out and chat with passers-by. Jon Taylor from Raglan Community Board was there when I dropped in for a chat along with other members of the place making team. Lisa Thompson said that there had been a warm reception so far with new ideas being given by members of the community.
The group plans to hold these sessions for the next four weeks.
