For the head of many local councils and boards, we get to vote directly for who will be the chief. With the Waikato Regional Council that’s not the case. The elected members vote in the Chairperson. The previous Chair, Paula Southgate, did not stand in this election leaving the question of who will be chair wide open.
So here’s a poll so you can pick who you want for Chair of WRC, the region’s big sister council that runs our buses and looks after the environment.
