Waikato District Council has advised that work will begin next week (from 26th May) to permanently repair the slip damage on Wainui Road at Manu Bay. The tender has been awarded to Transfield Services and will be completed towards the end of June.
Earlier geotechnical engineers undertook site visits to decide the full scope of the project. As the project was marked as high priority, the permanent repair work was scheduled as soon as possible. Traffic management will stay in place until the full repair is complete.
