In an only in Raglan story, Police first reported that a kayak trailer had been found on a property on Greenslade Road, Raglan on the afternoon of Saturday 7th without a kayak.
Police said that the kayaker may have launched from Lorenzen Bay and that they had not received a missing person report for any kayakers in the area, but they would like to make sure that the kayaker is safe and well.
By early evening Police said that they could confirm a kayak trailer located at a property in Raglan this afternoon had been recovered. It’s not believed anyone is outstanding.
