About 100 gathered at the foot of a windy Bow St on Monday 28th at noon, heard speeches from Vera and Phil and the dual threats of the oil rig and seabed ironsand mining, and walked up and down Bow St and across the footbridge, handing out leaflets and stickers on the way. Phil urged everyone to register for information at http://kasm.org.nz/ and come to the meeting being arranged by Angeline Greensill, as spokesperson for Tainui hapu, at 7.30pm in Raglan Town Hall on Tuesday November 5.
It was a good turn out and the hikoi received toots and claps from the visitors on the streets and in the cafes
