Oct 9-10: Covid testing in Raglan

Information provided to Radio NZ by Waikato DHB confirmed 10 Covid cases in Raglan up to midnight on Thursday 7th. Recent additions to the locations of interest list indicate that the last active cases in the Raglan community were on Monday 4th. A number of Raglanites are known to be self isolating at home for 14 days.

Covid testing is on again for Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October at Raglan Rugby Grounds in Cross Street:

Covid Vaccination for Raglanites

Good progress was made From Sunday 3rd with over 1,000 vaccinated in Raglan. Numbers on each day at the Area School were 89,145,140,140,140,199 plus 170 done by Raglan Medical during the week for a total of 1023.

The Area School vaccination site is not operating on Saturday 9th. The nearest walk-in site is at:

OPEN SATURDAY 9th and SUNDAY 10th 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Raglan Ward Councillor Lisa Thomson says they are looking to do some sessions in rural areas next week (Like Te Mata and Te Uku) as well as a session on Sunday 10th.
