Oct 5: Raglan Ramblers to visit Pakoka estuary

On the 5th October, Raglan Ramblers are off to Hakea Farm, Phillips Rd to explore the Pakoka estuary – a three kilometre morning walk, dropping 140 metres to the picturesque, winding channel, where the river, which has come over Wāireinga/ Bridal Veil Falls, merges into Aotea Harbour. Then they will walk back up the Motakotako valley.

Most walks start at 9am from the James St/ Wallis St corner near Catholic church. The walk on September 28th will leave from Raglan Wharf on Wahine Moe.
