COVID-19 testing
A pop-up testing centre is operating at Raglan as a result of Ministry of Health notification of positive COVID-19 cases in Raglan and Hamilton. See below for details.
From 11.59pm Thursday 23 September most people crossing Alert Level boundaries on permitted business or personal travel must be tested beforehand. In some cases evidence of a negative test is needed. The Unite Against Covid-19 website has more detail on requirements for different travel reasons, so please check this carefully when making travel plans.
If you need immediate or urgent help, do not hesitate to seek medical care by calling 111 for an ambulance or going to your nearest hospital emergency department. Let staff know straight away that you’re concerned you may have symptoms associated with COVID-19.
If you have cold or flu-like symptoms and are concerned about your risk of COVID-19, please ring Healthline (0800 358 5453) first. They will tell you if you need to be tested and what to do next.
- It is free to get a COVID-19 test.
- All GPs are able to provide assessment and testing – please phone your practice first.
- Please do not turn up to your GP without an appointment.
- After hours you can be seen at an urgent care clinic.
