For NYE 2017 booked in at 7.30pm for dinner at The Wharf Kitchen & Bar. When we arrived the restaurant was starting to get busy.
For the main I ordered scallops on a cauliflower puree from the ‘Small’ options plus a side serving of agri chips. Virginia ordered the pan fried snapper on new potatoes with spinach, cherry tomato and a coriander salsa. Both meals looked good and were very tasty.
Service was friendly. The restaurant seemed to be organised well for the night and as the night progressed and it was completely full, friendly prompt service continued.
For dessert I had the creamy lemon tart and Virginia had the red velvet cheesecake.
The desserts are served with a small selection of seasonal fruit and ice-cream.
Overall on Value for Money I gave Wharf Kitchen & Bar a Eight out of Ten for a very good meal and service.
I’d recommend booking on Friday and Saturday nights.
