Nov 30, Dec 1: NARNIA

Raglan Theatre Academy news

Raglan’s Youth Performing Arts School brings you the much anticipated… NARNIA, based on ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ by C.S. Lewis.

During the World War II bombings of London, four English siblings are sent to a country house where they will be safe. One day, while playing hide and seek, Lucy (Luna Petzold de la Cruz), the youngest of the children, finds a wardrobe which leads to a magical land called Narnia. However, Narnia is being ruled by the evil White Witch (Sashka Highway) who has made it snow for 100 years.

According to an old prophecy, Edmund (Josh Alexander), Lucy, Peter (Connor Marquand) and Susan (Summer Maybee-Waitere) are the “chosen ones” who will defeat the Witch. They are assisted by the true ruler of Narnia, the lioness, Aslan (Leila-Rose Skeates). With the good Narnians on their side all 4 children must now defeat the witch using all their strength and fulfill their destinies to become the new kings and queens of Narnia.

Join Raglan Theatre Academy as a cast of elves, dryads, fauns, centaurs, wolves, minotaurs and magical creatures light up the stage to bring you this fabulous adaptation of the story of Narnia.
