On the 25th November 2017, the Waitetuna Wind Farm Trail Run will take place on picturesque private farm land, only open to the public for this event. It offers something for everyone with 5km, 10km, and 21km trails.

The trails take you through forest tracks and stream crossings, and for those brave enough to enter the 21km trail you will find yourself winding your way between some of the majestic wind turbines. All trails offer spectacular views through to Mt Pirongia, Karamu Walkway, & Raglan Harbour.

In the spirit of all good trail events, the terrain may be gruelling in parts, but the scenery is worth it.

All entrants get finisher medals. Don’t miss out!
This is a fundraising event that has been established by the Waitetuna School PTA.
