With 101 people having their first shot over the last week Whāingaroa (Raglan, Around Raglan and Te Akau) now needs another 584 people to have their first shot. Stronger progress of 289 for second shots means that 1715 locals who have had their first shot need to go on and have their second shot to achieve the target of 90% vaccinated.
To date the percent fully vaccinated is: Raglan 64%, Around Raglan 63% and Te Akau 70%.
These are well below Hamilton on 77%, Waipa on 77%, but on par with the rest of the Waikato District on 71%.
Raglan Whāingaroa has stamped out the Delta Covid outbreak. Information provided by Waikato DHB shows that after peaking at 22 cases, as of November 3rd, there were no active cases in Whāingaroa.
