Rodger Gallagher was voted in as the Chairperson with Alan Vink as Deputy. The lengthy meeting mainly considered procedural matters.

The meeting also considered suggestions for Waikato District Council’s 2011/12 Annual Plan and invited anyone with suggestions to contact a Board member. The Board did not believe it had time to organise a public meeting and had turned down an offer from Whaingaroa Environmental Defence to do so.
