Raglan Community Arts Council has been working on a new building planned to be built behind the Old School Arts Centre. The building includes a much larger clay shed, a room for Raglan Lions opportunity shop support and a multipurpose community room on the first floor.
Chair Rodger Gallagher said, “After 2 years of fundraising and planning for the new Creative Space for Education, Culture & Arts (Clay shed Plus) building behind the Raglan Old School we now have some feasibility study plans to share with the community. The project is still at a very early stage. We hope that construction can go ahead in 2018.”
The committee and Clay Shed members at the Old School say they are looking forward to seeing anybody interested on the 23rd July.
So come along to the Raglan Old School Arts Centre on Saturday 23rd July at 10am to see the plans, have queries answered and show your support.
