Meridian Energy is working with our community’s four local schools to plan a Community Gala Day at the Kopua Domain on 10 April. This day will involve three things: a community fair, a kite-flying/making event for children, and Te Uku wind farm tours.
Meridian would like to invite organisations and companies to be a part of this community fundraising event by participating in the community fair. The purpose of the fair is to raise money for local schools and local community organisations. Individuals and organisations are welcome to book a vendor stall to provide goods/services on the day to raise funds for the organisation of their choice.
At this point, Meridian is simply asking people to register their interest in participating in the fair by phoning 0800 838 589. Interested organisations will then be contacted to provide a lot more detail about the day.
Please forward this email onto anyone you know who could be interested in participating on the day. We want to get as many local organisations involved as possible to make this a great event for our community!
