May 5: Ramblers head over divy to Lake Kainui

On the 5th May, Raglan Ramblers will be heading over the divy to Te Kowhai and Lake Kainui. They will be going for a walk along the stream near Te Kowhai. After that they will be walking round the three kilometre track on the edge of Lake Kainui, the 25 hectare peat lake, at Horsham Downs, still named Lake D on the 1:50,000 map. Please bring your lunch.

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
