Fulton Hogan will be installing rumble strips from May 28 to June 13 on State Highway 23, between Raglan and Cogswell Road. Stop/ Go traffic control will be in use.
This work will be carried out at night, starting from this Sunday night (28th May). Hours of work will be from 6pm to 6am.
NZTA have engaged Fulton Hogan, Waikato Construction Division, to carry out safety improvements along a section of SH23 from Raglan through to just east of Cogswell Road.
Part of the safety improvements includes the installation of ATP roadmarking (rumble strips). ATP roadmarkings are typically plastic lumps (also called blocks or ribs) that are laid onto the road surface (left image) or as a combined rib/line project (right image).
Installation lengths may be up to 2km in length, with a Stop/Go operation in place.
Please allow additional time for your journey.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fulton Hogan, Waikato Construction Division between office hours on 07 847 5127.
