May 26: Temporary Road Closure: Ruapuke Road, Raglan

Notice is hereby given that Waikato District Council, for allowing Hamilton Car Club to hold a motorsport event, will temporarily close a tar-sealed section of Ruapuke Road, Raglan, between Te Mata Rd and Waimaunga Rd, on Sunday 26 May 2019 from 9am to 5pm.

For the period of closure of the road, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads.

The road section will be manned at intersections by clearly identifiable marshals equipped with radio communication and access will be provided in the event of an emergency.

This notice is given pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the local Government Act 1974.

  1. As per normal the council have no regard for locals who live on Ruapuke rd and have voted to close this rd for a car club who also have nothing to do with anyone who lives on Ruapuke rd, thanks WDC
