Movie – FROM THE VINE

Graham Tuckett Stuff 3.5/5 Stars “Pantoliano’s spiky and layered performance as Marco basically saves this film from itself, with the actor cashing in a few decades worth of roles as a coward and a villain, to flesh the character out into something far more interesting than the self-satisfied and smug caricature that a more obvious leading-man would have located.”

Emmy-winner Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos) plays a man who, after an ethical crisis, returns from Toronto to his hometown in rural Italy. There, he finds a higher purpose: reviving his grandfather’s old vineyard.
