On the 4th March Raglan Ramblers will be visiting Paritata Peninsula by boat for a walk of up to 12 kilometres with views of the harbour on both sides (such as the one in the photo of
Peart’s Finger). Along the way they’ll be checking out the remains of a WW2 minesweeper. Please bring your lunch and your boat fare. Due to the popularity of walks this summer, Raglan Ramblers have hired the WahineMoe for the boat trip to ensure nobody gets left behind. The fare will be $20 for the morning trip out to Paritata isthmus and the 3pm trip .
For more on the Wahine Moe cruise boat see http://www.raglanboatcharters.co.nz/group-charters/.
Cruise Option: As there is plenty of space on the WahineMoe, people can join the Ramblers just for the boat trip to make the morning cruise out to Paritata via Whatitirinui Island and then cruise back to Raglan if you don’t want to join them for the walk. The boat is certified for up to 70, so there’s plenty of room. The cost of the morning cruise will be $10.

This walk will start at Raglan Wharf on the WahineMoe just after 9am on Wednesday 9th March. More info from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook
