There will be extra movies screenings at the Old School Arts Centre on Sunday March 25th.
First up at 3pm is a German Language film (English subtitles) called KOPFKINO. This has been organised by the Goethe Society. There is no charge for their members. The Society says Non Members are welcome with an entry donation of $6 (cash only). Parental guidance recommended for children. Tea, coffee and popcorn making facilities available.
Then at 7pm, Movies at the Old School will be having its first screening of OSCAR winner THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING MISSOURI (R16). Adults $15, Concession $12. Licensed bar & homemade snacks on sale at all screenings.

KOPFKINO
Tonio is a shy bookseller who often has his head in the clouds. He is secretly in love with a waitress called Julia and wants to sing a song for her at the forthcoming “Stella Radio” newcomer festival together with his friend Schnitzel. At the same time, both Schnitzel’s arch-enemies “Illectronic Rock” and Julia’s former sweetheart Raphael appear on the scene. Tonio is suddenly in the spotlight and has rivals he did not even know existed until a few days ago.

Oscar-winner Frances McDormand (Fargo) leads this darkly comic crime mystery from the writer-director of In Bruges, following a mother who’s fed up with her daughter’s murder case having gone unsolved for months. To kick things back into gear, she buys billboard space in her small town and slams the local law enforcement.
The film has seven Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Director, Original Screenplay, Lead Actress for McDormand, and two for supporting actors Woody Harrelson (The Hunger Games) and Sam Rockwell (Moon).
