Labour wins at Raglan Town Hall

The Labour Party came in first in both the party and candidate votes for people voting at the Raglan Town Hall in the 2020 General Election.

In the list/ party votes Labour picked up 1021 votes (48%). The Green party came in second with 411 votes (20%) followed by National with 365 votes (17%). From there it was a long way back to ACT on 93, Advance NZ on 68 and NZ First on 47.

At the 2017 General Election, Labour was the winner at the Raglan Town Hall with 712 votes (37%) followed by National with 598 (31%) and the Greens on 392 (20%). So in 2020, the Greens have moved ahead of National.

Although National’s Barbara Kuriger retained the Taranaki-King Country seat with 16,281 votes across the electorate, at the Raglan Town Hall she was beaten by Angela Roberts’ 1344 votes well ahead of Barbara on 462.
