Aurecon NZ Limited – Public Notice of Application Concerning Resource Consent

Section 95A(2)(a) of the Resource Management Act 1991

Waikato District Council has received the following application:

Applicant: Aurecon New Zealand Limited on behalf of Waikato District Council (Roading Division).

Proposal: Application for Land Use Resource Consents for a Non-Complying Activity including earthworks and the construction of a concrete, geofoam filled, walkway and micro piles over and through the existing coastal walkway and within 23 metres of Mean High Water Springs on land zoned as Business Zone and the location of a temporary contractor’s lay down area on land zoned as Recreation Zone.

Location: Coastal walkway joining Cliff Street with Bow and Wi Neera Streets, Raglan being Part Allotment 3 Section II Town of Raglan as comprised in Certificate of Title SA7A/1211 and Kopua Domain, Raglan being Papahua No 2 Block as comprised in Certificate of Title SA399/91.

The application includes an assessment of environmental effects.

Any person may make a submission on the application. You may do so by sending a written submission to Waikato District Council, Private Bag 544, Ngaruawahia. The submission must be on Form 13. Copies of this form are available from Waikato District Council.

Submissions close at 5pm on Friday 13 August 2010.

You must serve a copy of your submission on the Waikato District Council as the applicant, whose address for service is Aurecon, PO Box 9762, Newmarket, AUCKLAND 1149, Attention Sarah Hart, as soon as reasonably practicable after serving your submission on Waikato District Council as the consent Authority.
