On Wednesday 4th September, Raglan Ramblers will be driving south to Kawhia. Low tide will be just before 3pm, so the beach hot pools can be dug from about 1pm. Before that there will be time for a beach walk and a look at the museum. A towel, togs, spade and lunch will be useful.
All walks start 9am Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station). There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866.
