On 1st June Raglan Ramblers will be going to one of their favourite destinations, Waimaori – Schnackenberg Bays, via a new walk of about 10 kilometres. It will still see a crossing of the Toreparu Stream on the beach and clambering over the limestone pancake rocks into the bay at low tide, just afternoon. Please bring your lunch. (And on the 22nd there is a walk to the waterfall on this stream and on the 29th a walk to another limestone block).

Walks usually start 9am, Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station).  There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs.  Details from John 825 7866.   Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
