The eighth edition of Raglan’s famous bike race on the gravel roads around Mt Karioi is on Sunday 30th July.
Races will start at 8.30am (Enduro), 9.30am (Classic XL) or 10.15am (Classic) on Stewart Street in front of the Raglan Old School Arts Centre in Stewart Street.
Race packs can be picked up from the Old School Arts Centre on Saturday 29 July between 1pm and 5pm or on Sunday from 7am.
This year there is the choice again of three distance options : 43 km – 57 km – 85 km on predominantly gravel roads. And just like the 2016 race, this year’s three races will go in the opposite direction to 2015 and earlier years.
Remember that this is a challenging ride. Riders who sign up for the 43km or 57km, need to be able to finish within 4 hours. Enduro riders will need to finish within 6 hours. The option of the 85km is only recommended for the very experienced riders.
