Jul 25: Emergency slip repairs – SH 23 – Greenslade Rd

Update 8am Tuesday 23rd July.

Slip repairs are required on State Highway 23 (SH23) at the Greenslade Road intersection.

Work to cut and shape the bank and install soil protection will be getting underway from Thursday 25 July and is expected to take around 2 weeks to complete. It is weather dependent.

While this work is underway, traffic management will be in place Monday to Friday, between 9am and 3pm, under a 3-way stop/go on SH23 and Greenslade Road.

Outside of this time the road will be open with a shoulder closure and temporary speed limit in place.

NZ Transport Waka Kotahi (NZTA) thanks people for their patience while these important slip repairs are undertaken.
