Raglan – Sunday, 21 July / 2 – 5pm / Raglan Community House / $10 at the door
Waikato Film Hub presents the 2019 MistyFlicks Short Film Showcase – a cinema screening of Waikato-made shorts. Films are either created by people from the Waikato, or made in the Waikato. The goal of this event is to support filmmaking in our region and present the astounding talent we have here.
MistyFlicks Short Film Showcase started in 2018, and each year it’s our aim to bring the show to another venue. This year we have our premiere night at Lido Cinema in Hamilton followed by screenings in Raglan and Te Aroha. There will be a short Q&A following the screenings.
The screening in Raglan will take place at the Raglan Community House on Sunday, 21 July from 2 to 5pm, and tickets are only $10.
Films this year range from drama, comedy, documentary, experimental, and western. This event is recommended for mature audiences. For more information about the films and to purchase tickets, people can visit https://www.mistyflicks.co.nz/.
One of the films we are showing, Passion Fruit, was filmed in Raglan.
