British comedians Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon return in a follow-up to The Trip. This time they’re meandering around Italy; cruising the Amalfi coast and indulging in fine Italian dining and their own satirical style of humour. Director Michael Winterbottom trains his camera to capture the idyllic Italian landscape and the gastronomic treasures being prepared and consumed while keeping the film centered on the crackling chemistry between the two leads.
“…like a gently humorous travel programme with two hosts vying for the spotlight, this is still a trip worth taking.” The Sunday Star Times.
“As funny as the first go-round, more beautiful to look at, and better conceived.” Hollywood Reporter.
