Raglan’s five star Waoku Lodge, hosted a jazz concert on Saturday night featuring Sarah Bradley and Monica Louis. A perfect Raglan night saw them perform to backdrop of native bush and the Tasman Sea. Sarah and Monica are performing at a series of house concerts. Sarah was on the tour taking a short break from hosting TV1’s Good Morning Show.
The appreciative audience listened to these two top singers performing traditional jazz numbers including La Vie En
Rose, Ne Me Quitte Pas and I Got A Feeling. The evening’s theme of Wine, Women & Song saw a blind tasting of wine with two members of the audience masked for the occasion. Waoku Lodge provided a spit roasted lamb barbeque and salad for the evening.
