The outdoor evening jazz concert on the green behind the Old School on Friday 25th January was a big hit with the audience of fifty who enjoyed the music.
Starting the evening was a humorous monologue by Antonio Te Maioho delivered as a commentary to a race with horses named after a theme of global warming.
Under the watchful eye of Tom McCormack, the lineup of Greg Taylor on Piano, Jak Porima on Bass, Bill Forrest on Sax, Stuart Bayes on Trumpet and Boyd Dixon on Drums played jazz from its early days into the 1970s.
