Pipe Dreams arise from nine artists who work at Mountain Dreaming Arts Workshop with Susan Flight. At Raglan Old School Arts Centre, 5 Stewart St, Raglan 10am to 4pm daily, Saturday 30th January and will run for 3 days until February 1st.
Ninety works exhibited will include many traditional pipes for smoking of all kinds; but we also see a caterpillar in nirvana, waterwhistle pipes, delightful bubble pipes, moondogs with incense, crazy cows smoking, birds and lizards enjoying pipe heat in rest, and Rarohenga’s portal with Kuru Kaitiaki.
Exhibitors include Susanne Prinz, Merren Goodison, Tania Mills, Genny Wilson, Heather Cunningham, Karen Kennedy, Marilyn Yates, Janet Leonard and Susan Flight.
“Pipe Dreams” is a playful out-of-this-world show – a once in a lifetime exhibition.
It will be opened by Virginia Gallagher 10am Saturday 30th January and will run for 3 days until February 1st 10am until 4pm.
