Raglan Ramblers have had a change to their advertised programme with a swap of the Karioi from Ruapuke ramble with the Te Mata Farm ramble. This means that Karioi will now be on Wednesday 17th January and Te Mata will be on Wednesday 31st January.

The Karioi from Ruapuke ramble is a nine kilometre walk to the 756 metre summit. Along te way, the ramblers will be enjoying the dwarf montane bush and the great views. These sometimes include the snow capped
mountains of Taranaki and the central plateau. Please bring your lunch.

Walks usually start 9 am, Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station). There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook.

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
