Jan 17: Raglan Ramblers back to enjoy Magic Mountain

On the 17th January, Raglan Ramblers are returning to Magic Mountain. This is a seven kilometre rambler starting near the site of the 1901 dairy and climbing to the 327 metre trig point and the Okete Volcanics boulders. There are with views of Pirongia, Karioi, Aotea, Kawhia, Whaingaroa and past the wind-swept mapou tree in the photo. Please bring your lunch.

There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs. Details from John 825 7866. Most walks start at 9am from the James St/ Wallis St corner near Catholic church.

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
