The Preview Exhibition & Silent Auction for the Raglan Arts Weekend opened on Saturday morning (16th January) at the Old School Arts Centre, Stewart St. A steady stream of visitors placed bids on their favourite pieces with one lucky buyer deciding to use the “buy now” option to take their piece home.

The Old School is now open daily 10am-3pm until the end of the January so that you can view an example of each artist’s work and plan your Arts Weekend dates!

This year, is a first for the Exhibition and Silent Auction taking place at the Old School. The exhibition features one piece of artwork from every artist taking part in the weekend. All items are for sale by silent auction using the bidding sheets provided or if you can’t wait there is a ‘buy now’ option with a marked price.

“The Exhibition is a great way to get a feel for each artist’s work, and we recommend starting your weekend here,” says Jacqueline. “Once you’ve had a browse and maybe placed a bid, you can pick up a copy of the Raglan Arts Weekend Guide and head out and explore over Anniversary weekend.”
