Jan 15: Summer shade at Taitua arboretum coming up for Raglan Ramblers

On the 15th January, Raglan Ramblers will be visiting Taitua arboretum where it will provides summer shade for a walk under 20 hectares of trees. John and Bunny Mortimer started planting trees and shrubs from 1973 onwards.

After visiting the arboretum Ramblers will be climbing the hill to look over Hamilton and maybe stop at Whatawhata cafe on the way back. Please bring your lunch for this walk.

Each “Rambler” accepts responsibility for any accident or injury received while travelling, or walking over private property. Be prepared – carry enough food, clothing, first aid kit for emergencies and preferably a mobile phone.
