The kowhai trees are blooming and the tuis have been enjoying their nectar. I thought I’d better take a photo of the flowers on the ree at the end of our deck before the winds and rain came and blew the last of the golden blossums away. And when it’s kowahi time in Raglan, it means that the Raglan Film Festival will soon be with us.
