“We’re the only genuine NZ show that actually gives away things and has a lot of laughs doing it!” chuckles Pio Terei.

“And if you can’t make the show for the chance to compete on stage you can enter our online Web Bag comp and Stacey and I will play for you!” he adds.

Web Bag is open to anyone in New Zealand – simply visit the website www.itsinthebag.co.nz and enter how much cash you would be prepared to take over the bag. Each show an entrant is drawn at random and Pio and Stacey play against each other on your behalf. Kia tupato! – If you get the bag you could walk away with a Holiday or a scrubbing brush!

“Last year we had amazing contestants, some real characters and fun was the name of the Game. I’m also proud that we can include te reo Maori in a way which includes everyone and is a celebration of what is unique to Aotearoa” Says Stacey Morrison

Each show contestants are chosen from the audience in a warm up game before shooting starts.

“Be ready for an evening of lively audience participation! And do your homework! Pio and I present the show in both Te Reo and English and the questions are mix of local, national and general knowledge.” Says Stacey. “Oh and remember to look your best your going to be on TV” she adds.

Shows are pre-recorded live in front of local audiences and last year attracted sell out crowds! Because we’re shooting live I’m afraid we have to ask you to leave the little ones at home – so no tamariki under eight please.
