A new cafe called ISOBAR, opened at 23 Bow St during the week. The location is known to many Raglanites as the former site of Lind’s Duck Inn Tea Rooms & Dairy. The dairy was followed by a series of cafes, the most recent of these being The Pantry, which closed in July 2018.
The new ISOBAR cafe is being run by the Pilot Brewery, based in Te Kowhai. The word on Bow Street is that a micro brewery is to be set up.
I’m told the coffee is good and they have a muffin and coffee morning special available.
