We asked Waikato District Council’s CEO Gavin Ion about problems that users were having making online submissions for the Council’s annual plan.
John Lawson had said, “When I try to save my electronic submission I keep getting this
message on the page at consult.waidc.govt.nz saying: ‘There was an error saving your responses, please try again later.” When we tested the submission website the same message appeared but in two subsequent tests, saving was successful.
We have been advised that Council’s IT team is looking at the problem. Mr Ion said,
“Hi Rodger
I have asked Maria to look into it tomorrow. Please let me know if you are aware of any issue with Submissions being late for this reason. Clearly we will allow any submissions for this reason.
