On Wednesday October 10th,  Raglan Ramblers will be heading along the Pipiwharauroa Trail.  It is 15km to the windfarm and back.  It includes the road cutting shown in the photo on the partly formed road to Waitetuna started in 1908, but never completed after the First World War.

There are also wide views to the south (Taranaki if it is clear) and to the Waitetuna valley. You’ll need to bring your lunch for this one.

All walks start 9am Wednesdays from Wainui Rd car park (next to Raglan Fire Station).  There is no membership – the only cost is 10 cents per km to share travel costs.  Details from John 825 7866.   Check out Raglan Ramblers on Facebook
