Just ten days after we reported that work on the Greenslade Road to Nikau Park Rd in Lorenzen Bay cycleway bridge was about to restart, the bridge is complete. Work restarted on Monday 15th November and in a blazingly fast build it is now in use.
The bridge crosses a small stream which locals have been restoring with wetland plants over the past nine years. The cycleway follows an old paper road which has now been designated as a greenspace.
