Saturday 12th was a great day to be on the harbour. The Raglan Sailing Club regatta at Lorenzen Bay saw 25 boats out on the inner harbour. And around the harbour a number of boat were moored for a day of fishing.
The sunny day attracted many visitors to Raglan with Bow St busy all day. Over at Te Kopua, people arrived early to get good spot on the grass, although the spring-tide meant that there wasn’t much beach or sand available to build sand castles for the middle part of the day. But there was plenty of water in the estuary for bridge jumpers and at times a queue formed to get a chance for a jump.
