Wednesday 2nd January was a great day for the beach in Raglan. The sunny day attracted sun lovers to all of Raglan’s beaches although the black sand was a bit hot to walk over. Kite boarders were out in force to take advantage of the good winds at the harbour mouth.
Elsewhere people packed Te Kopua Reserve and under the pohutukawas of the green habourside strip of Cliff St, picnickers took adanatge of every bit of shade.
Wednesday’s overnight rain is expected to ease by midday Thursday 3rd Jan. Winds will also drop and the sunny weather will return for a few days providing more great days for the beach.
