Good progress is being made on the James St, roading, parking, footpath and stormwater project. Waikato Councils’ contractor Civil Construction Services appears to be on target to complete the project by the planned completion date of 19th December. The road foundation has been formed and consolidated with some of the parking bays are nearing completion.
Residents and visitors have already started to use the parking bays. The $448,000 James St project was let to Civil Construction Services in July.
After the holiday period Civil Construction Services will start on $180,730 urban upgrade project in Norrie Avenue. This will begin in mid-January 2015 with an expected completion 20 February 2015.
